Transparency
Sandoz is proud of its collaborations with NHS institutions, clinicians and patient groups, and other external stakeholders. We believe working together improves outcomes for patients.
The public increasingly expects transparency across the public sector, including healthcare. We promote the principle of transparency in the financial relationships between pharmaceutical companies and healthcare organisations including health professionals, in accordance with the ABPI Code of Practice.
Sandoz is committed to working with integrity, upholding ethical standards, and following all laws and regulations. We disclose the financial information related to our collaborations, which include joint working, payments to healthcare professionals, grants and donations and support to patients and patient organizations.

We believe transparency is good for everyone
It allows the public, especially patients, to understand how we work with, and support, the doctors, nurses and patient organisations that care for them. It demonstrates how we use financial and non-financial resources to educate healthcare professionals on how to create better medical outcomes and better access to medicines. It shows how we engage clinicians and other experts to provide vital advisory and consultancy services that we need to do our work more effectively.
We also strongly encourage our healthcare professional colleagues to see the value in this transparency as a way of promoting understanding of our healthcare system and how working collectively delivers better results for patients.
